I am bored.
I have no work.
I am tired of even net surfing so you can understand how bored I must be plus me mind is going numb too.
My biggest achievement for the day was finding out the factorial of some number with the help pf Lucio. Why? Don’t ask. No, really, don’t.
I was bored the whole day yesterday too cos it was a holiday and I had nothing to do and nowhere to go.
I have no idea what to write so c ya later…
My life is becoming a little boring n mundane these days. Nothing interesting happens ever.
So I thought of writing about an interesting incident that happened in the past.
This happened when I was coming back from Lucknow to Bangalore. I happened to have the window seat next to the emergency exit on the flight. One of the airhostesses came to me and asked if I was okay with being seated there. I replied in affirmative. Then she started telling me about the procedure I’ll need to follow in case of an emergency and I listened carefully, hoping at the back of my mind that I don’t actually have to do it, but then she stopped all of a sudden and turned her face to look at me and asked me, “Are you over 16?” I was shocked, surprised, amused, appalled all at the same time and couldn’t control my smile when I told her that I was actually 23. She seemed to be a little taken aback by my reply cos she immediately replied, “Oh, but you don’t look that old.”
Now, I know I do look younger than most other people my age and can easily pass off as a 20-21 year old (in fact, some college students look far older than me) but 16 yrs old? That’s just ridiculous.
When you make a list of things you would do when you stay alone someday in your childhood, it doesn’t include looking for a plumber to fix the leaking stopcock in the bathroom, does it?
But that’s exactly what I had to do today.
Sucks!
In other news, I would like to confess that I am a Fanta addict. I have to drink it everyday. I finish off the 2l bottle in three days. Is there a rehabilitation program that I can join?
Also, I wrote my first post for Naachgaana today. Can’t believe how difficult it is to write for something other than your personal blog. I mean, I can write absolutely anything I want here but to write for some other website, it’s a lot of pressure. I hope I did a good job.
Why don’t people listen something and just stick to it?
I was attending a presentation be a very senior official who is known to be quite strict about keeping the no cell phones on silent mode. So obviously most of the crowd (the ones with some amount of brains in them) did that but as it turns out few guys did not and not surprisingly they were the ones who started getting calls or messages during the presentation and all of us were forced to listen to all kinds of jazzy ringtones. The official looked a little distracted but didn’t say anything. But one guy kept getting one call after another and finally the official had to ask everyone to turn the phones off.
Incidents like these are not common which brings me to my other question? Why can’t these goddammit people put their phones on vibrator? Is it because:
