My new department’s head loves to say “I don’t want you all to reinvent the wheel” and he breathes heavily. I think he has breathing problem.
I have to go out for dinner with my colleagues cos one of the guys is getting married soon and tonight’s his bachelor party (except that there won’t be a stripper).
As far as playing the host is concerned, its been more than a week since my nephew came to stay with me and things have been great till now. It turns out that I am a great host. Even I am surprised at the way I’ve been managing everything. Of course, he’s isn’t a bad guest either. So I think I got a little lucky this time.

Glad to hear hosting is going well.
I had a college professor who also used to say that “there’s no reason to reinvent the wheel.” It was her way of saying “You don’t have to do your homework.” So I liked that saying!
i’m glad you’re enjoying being a host. i like it too… and with family, its much easier. well– not for my in-laws.
when abby comes over, i dont bother doing anything. HAHA.
oye, why do I get the feeling that you are Raj from DDLJ. You seem to be of the senti types. I didnt liked the character though wud have loved to get hold off what he managed in the end.
@yogi: Heh. Really? That’s surprising cos i’ve am often accused of being insensitive and everytime i take a personality test, i’m told i’m very practical – something people who know me agree with. Had i been in DDLJ, i would have not even bothered to follow Kajol to India. Its possible that my blog is deceptive and is leading u to believe i’m someone that i’m not.
