If you happen to be one of the few people who still visit my blog once in a while, you might have noticed that its almost one month since I wrote my last post. So I guess it can’t passed off as venial sin this time.
I’ve also realized that I forgot to celebrate the one-year anniversary of my home in April. I didn’t do much to spruce up the place in this one year cos I always thought that I might have to move soon but now that I know I’ll stay there for atleast one more year, I’m thinking of finally doing something about it.
I attended another Time Management session recently in which I was told that I should do things that I like doing (like blogging) in my off-peak hours (like immediately after lunch) so that’s what I am doing right now. And I promise to write atleast a post every week from now on.
Also, I want all of you to forget all the good things I said about ICICI Bank. I don’t like it much now. Why? Well, I applied for a Gold Credit Card some time back and after months of processing (during which I got 3 other gold cards), they sent me a mini card, a Mini Card!! If like me, you don’t know what that is, it is an embarrassingly tiny card which I would never use even if it were the only card I had. It even comes with a hole so that I could put it in a key ring. Like, how out of touch from reality could these people be? Who would want to show off that ugly card by putting it in one’s key ring. Which reminds me that I need to get it cancelled soon.
In reality TV news, the current season of “The Amazing Race” came to an end this week. Unfortunately, my favorite team of this season, Monica and Joseph (Mojo, as they call themselves), got eliminated last week so I had no one to root for in the finals. But I would have been happier if the fake hippies didn’t win it. Losers!

In the last line you have termed the winners as the loosers. He He
yeah, i noticed the lack of posts. but thats ok
i actually dont get around much to other blogs anymore. i’ve been so busy. whenever i can scrounge up ten minutes i quick do a post of my own. but thats it
so, i’ve been losing my readers. sad. i really need to start reading others again…
feel special– you’re the only one i’m getting to tonight. i’m so stinking tired, and its only 10. My “precious” daughter cried for 45 minutes before settling down for sleep.
it has been a long time and a post was due…”der aaye per durust aaye”
ICICI credit cards…man they suck…i also have a credit card frm them and it took them bloody 3 months to give me a card and that too not the one i asked

I like the idea of using ur credit card as a key ring.. he he.. when are u using urs as one
do u even kno what a quickie means in slang..
i was expectin a juicy post.. he he

@sej: Well, they might have won the race but as far as being a person is concerned, they will always be losers
@becky: I do feel special
precious with the quotes - hillarious
That u r able to write a post even tho u r busy is really something I appreciate.
@abhinav: Shukriya.
The best thing to do would be to use the ICICI CCs for spreading butter on bread like Mr. Bean.
@akanksha: How dumb or naive do you think I am? I am fully aware of its meaning. Thats why I chose it. Clever, huh!
Well, yes, size does matter and I think it matters to girls too
@girish: Thanks for visiting even when there were no updates. I hope to keep my promise so that ur visits don’t go waste.
Me too can’t make any connection between the title of the post and the content
my God i am the only seedha baacha
here who didn’t knew “Quickie” ..
However i totally agree SIZE does matter
@greensatya: Okay, let me explain. I worte a quick post in 10 mins hence I named it Quickie (pun intended). Done!
@abhinav: Sirf ek word ka meaning na pata hone se kutch nahin hota. That doesn’t prove that u r a seedha bachcha.
Size matters to everybody. Those who say it doesn’t are liars.
ho ho ho… that icici card sounds damn funny! So, u need a card for showing it off eh?
interesting.
abt the amazing race, i dint watch the whole season :(. but i did catch 5 mins of the end. and i saw those guy win. My sis actually wanted them to win, tho she watched 2 or 3 episodes in the beginning!
oh well, in reality tv, the sad thing was american idol. i mean, Hicks and Kat?! c’mon!! it was damn stupid. and Hicks won!! but i dint even care in the end, coz i was not rooting for either of them.
yeah, i know, totally off topic
Why is a mini-card such a bad thing ? Same functionality right ? Plus if you have it on your key ring, there’s no way you’re forgetting it at home. I haven’t seen mini-credit cards, but do have some department store mini-cards (through which you earn reward points) on my key-ring, which save me trouble because I don’t have to dig in my way-too-full purse for my wallet.
@freeze: No, no. I never said I wanted to show off a card. Its the ICICI bank people who want their customers to show off that ugly tiny card.
Tell your sister not to tkae people at their face value. Those hippies were just too phoney.
Ya, AI judges say that the quality of contestants is going up every season but I still think that Kelly Clarkson is the best AI till date. Anyhow, Hicks is kinda okay when he’s not makin faces and moving around like he’s just been electrocuted.
Actually, that wasn’t offtopic cos its all reality TV
@amodini: Well, I guess the fact that its not very common right now makes it a li’l embarassing. And the other thing is that I don’t think a card with its metallic casing would fit in my jeans’ pocket along with all the keys. So not that useful for me.
Hi,
Sorry for stalking your blog.
I love your style of writing & will be commenting on blog regularly
Btw, using ICICI bank credit cards is total torture, so cancel them as fast as you can.
